The senior vice president of virtual care, will be responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of our virtual care vertical, including SelectPatient Management, SelectSync Medical and other expanding virtual care business lines. This individual must have an understanding of the telehealth and payor reimbursement market and landscape, be able to develop and execute strategies that achieve annual and multi-year business objectives and lead efforts to drive advancement of clinical excellence initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
As a senior leader, the ideal candidate must be able to communicate and influence internal team members, the executive team, external partners, and the working team to meet objectives. Strong leadership and communications skills are imperative for this role.
At SelectPatient Management, we are transforming the way individuals with chronic conditions manage their health in between visits to the doctor. Our Care Navigators offer customized support for patients with multiple chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Each month, they check in to see how they are doing, but they can also help patients better manage their medications, schedule appointments, set goals, stay motivated, and so much more.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carries out business execution and works in partnership to gain participants buy in on proposed approaches for improving business performance.
- Ensures delivery and execution related to operational reporting, strategic planning, and project execution are on time and identifies areas of potential risk in delivering to set timelines.
- Responsible for leading qualitative and quantitative analysis to measure the success of the entire division or new initiatives
- Assists to resolve issues, modeling effective data synthesis and analysis skills so that others can learn from the thought process
- Works with team members cross functionally to analyze the overall impact of a divisional operational approach, including the opportunity costs of different courses of action
- Establishes strategic and financial goals and objectives; leads senior management team in implementation and achievement of these goals
- Defines and builds successful management infrastructure and team committed to the business objectives; instills excitement, mission, and motivation in management team
- Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of company and departmental policies and procedures
- Oversees financial planning and controls; oversees preparation and maintenance of all operating and capital budgets
- Reviews and analyzes operational reports to ensure company is achieving goals and objectives; develops and implements corrective measures as required
- Collaborates with senior management to analyze internal workflows and organizational development and continually develop improvements
- Ensures communication and information flow throughout the organization is efficient to provide all employees and managers with current, pertinent, job-related information
- Prepares all required reports and correspondence
- Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops senior managers; oversees establishment of effective schedules and workflow
- Assigns objectives and monitors quality of work; assures senior management conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations
- Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of senior management; actively works to promote and recognize performance
- Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions

- Demonstrated leadership skills to drive optimal business performance
- Strong capability to interface with external partners and make operational recommendations
- Progressive experience in roles demanding analytical rigor and discipline
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Experience in operations and operational disciplines such as program and project management

- Strong written communication and presentation skills; comfortable with high degree of interaction with senior leadership team

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- 15+ years of relative healthcare experience required
- 10+ years of progressive management experience required

- This position has budget responsibility, authority and/or level of control.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
