About the Role

SelectQuote is looking for a Revenue Operations Analyst to support our Revenue Operations and Sales and Retention Operations departments. This individual will play a critical role supporting the Revenue Accounting Finance and Sales team to ensure accurate reporting reduce revenue risks and enhance internal processes. 

 

The Revenue Operations Analyst should demonstrate excellent strategic and critical thinking intellectual curiosity and a passion for data analytics and solutioning. The RevOps Analyst will be responsible for partnering across Sales Operations and Revenue Operations identifying gaps and inefficiencies and leveraging data to formulate solutions. They must have strong consultative and stakeholder management experience for they will be tasked with being an expert in inter-departmental dependencies to proactively identify areas of risk and offer solutions that influence decisions and increase efficiency across SQ operations. This role will oftentimes require meeting with external clients to understand how operations are receiving data and how it must be interpreted in order to improve internal processes and reporting.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Intimately knows and can communicate the sales operational processes and revenue operational processes. 
  • Serve as liaison between Revenue Operations and Sales and Retention Operations
  • Consult and provide proactive solutions for process gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Lead project work and identify areas to increase efficiency with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Researches and resolve complex data based issues in relation to the sales and revenue tracking 
  • Assists in data management and integrity of the division
  • Prepares and maintains appropriate reports and can effectively program manage their workload
  • Supports the development and optimization of the firm's proprietary revenue tracking system and sales tracking system. 

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience; exceptional communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to tasks and ability to manage several projects simultaneously and in a timely manner. 
  • Detail-oriented mindset; a high degree of accuracy is required in all functions.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office & Google products
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio strongly preferred.  
  • Familiar with accounting practices terminology and processes

Education and Experience:  

  • 5 or more years of professional experience in information technology data management data integration or equivalent relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Information Technology Business or equivalent experience) Accounting experience or degree is a plus.
  • Experience working with revenue/financial software and/or financial tracking systems
  • 2 or more years of proven experience in data integration data management or a related field.
  • Adept in data analytics data mapping database concepts and extract/transfer/load processes. 
  • Strong understanding of data mapping ETL processes and database concepts.
  • 2 or more years in stakeholder management; a strong communicator with an ability to manage complex processes and deliver digestible materials to stakeholders.
  • 2 or more years experience in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel & Google products (i.e. decks sheets drive docs gmail)

Physical Requirements: 

  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
