About the Role

The Compliance Analyst plays a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of our business operations by focusing on in-depth data analysis proactive trend identification and cross-functional project leadership. This position is responsible for conducting root cause analyses of compliance issues developing insightful dashboards managing carrier complaint data and overseeing marketing vendor complaint tracking in an effort to improve overall compliance. The Analyst will also lead complaint reduction initiatives in collaboration with various teams. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills technical proficiency a proactive mindset and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive improvements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct root cause analysis on compliance issues and complaints to identify underlying causes and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Liaise with carriers to obtain consolidate and manage complaint data; design and oversee a complaint tracking system.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance compliance dashboards (e.g. Quicksight SQL) to visualize trends monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights from various data sources (complaints audits carrier data etc.).
  • Proactively analyze data to identify compliance trends potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present clear summaries of data analyses root cause findings and trends to stakeholders.
  • Provide key data analysis to support the company's complaint reduction strategy focusing on identifying root causes and drivers of common themes by analyzing complaint narratives agent behaviors and non-complaint indicators.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for process improvements script refinements tool enhancements and targeted audit/coaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing data-backed insights to drive down complaints.
  • Track performance initiative impacts and thematic trends reporting progress to stakeholders.
  • Oversee designated third-party compliance software systems ensuring effective utilization data integrity and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Support the implementation and integration of new third-party compliance software.
  • Partner with internal teams on compliance projects and initiatives to enhance departmental and organizational efficiency providing analytical support and compliance expertise.
  • Effectively communicate compliance trends analytical findings and complaint reduction progress to diverse audiences.
  • Serve as a point of contact for designated carrier compliance inquiries and data requests.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting; experience generating reports and presenting data effectively.
  • Familiarity with compliance principles and regulatory environments (e.g. CMS FCC) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and comfortable learning new software and data analysis tools (e.g. SQL BI tools Google Suite Jira Lucid).
  • Good organizational and task management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and identify and resolve roadblocks.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven track record of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Data Analytics Finance Healthcare Administration or a related field or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a compliance regulatory data analysis or operations support role required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.


Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
