About the Role

We are seeking a highly adaptable and results-oriented Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in scaling our operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of not only managing day-to-day operational excellence but also possessing the entrepreneurial drive and strategic acumen to establish and launch new business verticals from the ground up. You will be instrumental in shaping our operational landscape ensuring efficiency and driving sustainable growth across both existing and newly developed areas of the business.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end process of establishing new business verticals including defining operational frameworks workflows and resource requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of each new vertical.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales Marketing Operations Training Analytics) to ensure seamless integration and successful launch of new initiatives.
  • Identify and implement necessary technology and infrastructure to support new vertical operations.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track the progress and success of new verticals.
  • Oversee and optimize daily operational activities across all existing and new business verticals.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and workflows to enhance productivity reduce costs and improve overall operational performance.
  • Manage and mentor operational teams fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations policies and quality standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize value and service delivery.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
  • Implement and maintain effective communication channels across all operational teams.
  • Contribute to the development of overall business strategy providing operational insights and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for operational innovation and process optimization to support business growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging operational trends.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of various operational functions including billing receivables or customer service.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.

Education and Experience: 

  • 3 years of progressive experience in operations management with a significant portion of that experience in establishing and launching new business verticals or significant operational expansions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in building operational frameworks processes and teams from the ground up.
  • Experience in Healthcare (Hospital Pharmacy DME) preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
