The Sr. Media & Advertising Manager role is responsible for managing and driving agency partners to ensure media distribution channels including TV/Radio/ Podcasts meet core KPIs. This role will manage agency partners and collaborate with the Term and Final Expense division leadership teams to deliver various business goals and objectives. This role will work with internal marketing team members along with members of other departments to assess performance and analyze metrics that will be used to achieve performance targets. This role will manage a multimillion-dollar annual marketing budget optimizing monthly budget allocation to drive efficient performance.
This role requires a strong vendor management skillset superior project management and analytical capabilities and keen budget management skills
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This role is the primary point of contact between SelectQuote and it’s media agencies
- Act as project manager facilitating meetings ensuring deliverables are completed timelines are met etc.
- Lead operational processes to ensure campaigns are set up properly data is shared properly etc.
- Budget management across media vendors budget allocation based on achieving core KPI’s including: Lead volume ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and Cost per lead
- Analyze media and KPIs to drive media buying strategies and optimization based on operational and financial performance.
- Evaluate performance by network daypart spot length programming and creative
- Drive media test plans with agency partners to gain learnings to improve performance
- Work with external partners and the internal analytics team to create and analyze reporting necessary to inform strategies to achieve goals
- Lead multi-touch attribution efforts to better understand how advertising impacts overall marketing performance
- Working externally and internally facilitate development of new Creative as necessary across divisions
- Develop reporting and recommendations to the Marketing Sales and Operations leadership
- Keep up-to-date with advertising trends the media industry as well as competitors in the same field or industry
- Evaluate efficiency of marketing channels and recommend optimizations to the current strategy
- Collaborate closely with internal marketing team members to develop and enhance ad hoc reporting as needed

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance Marketing or Business Administration required
- 8 years of relevant work experience; with at least 5 years specifically in media management analysis and buying experience
- Skilled with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and priorities
Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
