About the Role

The Sr. Media & Social Manager ideal candidate has deep domain expertise in the paid social & programmatic media space, and has experience driving profitable campaign execution in the financial services & healthcare space. Agency experience with hands on end to end keyboard execution, and client facing interactions preferred. This person will translate business needs to paid social strategy and execution, and effectively articulate media performance and shifts in strategy to internal stakeholders at all levels. Influences campaign creative and experiences for paid social campaigns to optimize performance. Applies an advanced understanding of audience targeting development, media objectives measurement, and omni-channel strategies furthering internal stakeholders understanding of how different channels work together and the role each channel plays.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Leads the creation facilitation and/or execution of multi-platform social plans for SelectQuote across one or more product verticals
  • Hands on strategy development and execution within platform of the paid media marketing strategy through the development and implementation of planning buying and campaign optimization
  • Socialization of strategies and performance to a wide variety of audiences (ie explains rationale for media strategy and how it meets business objectives and adheres to media best practices)
  • Ensures paid social media is scheduled and delivered according to the marketing plan and complies with the organization's marketing standards
  • Performance monitoring optimization and reporting; use of data driven insights to drive innovation; channel management; and/or managing budgets
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and management to understand the parameters for developing media strategies and applies business knowledge to in platform strategies
  • Communicates status with management and internal/external partners as needed
  • Applies an advanced understanding of analytics and measurement tools/techniques to test creative and experiences

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Advanced knowledge of social marketing industry and programmatic media buying best practices
  • Advanced knowledge on impact of social marketing to an omni-channel experience
  • Strong Strategy Acumen (target audience KPIs/Goals Budget Seasonality Geography Competitive)
  • Recent Financial Services and Health Related Product Line Experience (Life Insurance/ Medicare)

Education and Experience:  

  • 7+ years of experience in a marketing sales advertising and/or communications function
  • At least 4 years of experience with hands on keyboard management of paid Social Media Campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and others in a heavy lead-gen environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience influencing business decisions
  • Experience facilitating and/or participating in cross-functional teams

Physical Requirements: 

  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The Compensation for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.

$95,000

$105,000
