About the Role

This position plays a crucial role supporting the Compliance Manager in various compliance functions with a strong emphasis on TCPA and DNC guidelines. Key responsibilities include investigating complaints and escalated issues from employees and consumers as well as conducting vendor audits.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with Compliance and Legal to resolve investigations promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into various complaints including consumer journey lead documentation handling permission to contact vendor requests and call documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison with external counsel ensuring seamless collaboration and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist in process development and implementation
  • Conduct vendor audits and execute vendor investigation reporting
  • Spearhead comprehensive TCPA investigations DOI investigations BBB investigations beginning with the initial incident report and continuing through to the final resolution and post-investigation analysis
  • Create and assemble comprehensive and consistent documentation to support investigations and audit.
  • Summarize audit and investigation findings through internal reporting and lead vendor corrective action reports
  • Ensure lead vendors complete all issued corrective actions in the permitted time frame. Escalate non-compliance to management.
  • Assist with Navex Global investigations as requested with an unbiased perspective.
  • Actively monitor and address issues sent to TCPA DOI BBB and Compliance inboxes
  • Foster collaborative relationships across multiple departments and divisions facilitating effective communication and alignment on compliance initiatives.
  • Assist with TCPA Complaint training aspects as directed
  • Assist with carrier complaints and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in supporting overall compliance efforts.

Education and Experience:  

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Background in the insurance industry or compliance-related position preferred
  • Minimum 1 of experience with CMS/Carrier sales requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with TCPA regulations and carrier complaints
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Compliance department is preferred

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.

Base Salary Minimum

$55,000

Base Salary Maximum

$60,000
