SelectRX is a high touch, technology-driven specialized medication management pharmacy. The Team Lead Shipping assists the PA Pharmacy Supervisors with day to day operations including but not limited to answering questions from the staff assisting work flow on the production floor and restocking supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Have a basic understanding in all areas of production and extensive knowledge in the shipping and receiving department
• Address minor issues on the floor from shipping associates knowing when to direct major questions to floor supervisors
• Collect totes from shipping racks and organize them efficiently on the floor
• Restock shipping stations with essential supplies to maintain workflow
• Responsible for stocking ice and maintaining enough frozen ice for the demands of the business
• Ensure the shipping area remains clean neat and well-organized
• Flexibility to be part of the work flow based on demands of the business.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Perform manual labor tasks such as unloading shipments and organizing inventory in the stockroom
• Work effectively in various weather conditions including heat rain snow
• Moves waiting for ship prescriptions to shipping ensuring that the shippers have ample amount of work at all times.

Skills/Abilities:

• Detail oriented and accurate
• Efficient and accurate typing skills
• Aptitude to develop partnerships with teams within the department and across the company
• Ability to use multiple software programs to review patient profiles and process medication orders
• High degree of Interpersonal and organizational skills

Education and Experience: 

• 1 year of experience in the Production Setting or similar SRx role with approval
• Meeting minimum productivity standards in current SRx role
• Not on a performance improvement plan corrective action or quality improvement program

Physical Requirements:

• Primarily indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions while unloading deliveries.  
• Must have the ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions during loading/unloading tasks.  
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.  
• Must have the ability to stand walk bend and reach for extended periods of time.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
